How a 30 Day Program Helped Change the Way I View my Health
My journey to healthy living started a while ago. I was a Junior in college and I started to realize that eating Taco Bell and McDonald’s probably wasn’t serving my best interest. I started to make healthier choices with my diet, but I wasn’t really in tune with how my mind and gut were responding to the changes.
After years of eating a monotonous diet, I noticed that my energy levels were low, I was moody, and my digestive system wasn’t operating like it had at one point. My body wasn’t responding the same way that it had to certain foods and food groups. I had heard about the whole idea of having a balanced gut and how having a healthy gut could benefit your well-being, but I honestly hadn’t looked into it.
A few months ago, I was fed up with being low energy, disengaged with life and overall feeling “blah”. I decided to get really focused for 30 days. In that 30 days, I focused 100% on healing my gut and balancing my microbiome.
I did this through elimination of common allergens and leveraging powerful plant-based supplements to ensure my body was getting everything it needed to thrive.
Over the course of 30 days I noticed a change in my mood. I was literally jumping out of bed in the morning. My digestion improved and I got rid of bloating that I didn’t even know existed. I was getting better sleep, more focused and engaged with life.
By eliminating the common allergens from my diet and leveraging powerful supplements to make meal replacement shakes, I was able to reset my gut. I slowly began reintroducing food into my diet and noticed how my body reacted to certain things. This gave me the power to limit my interaction with the foods that were not serving my body and take back control of my overall wellbeing by using food as fuel.
